I’m Feeling Blue!

photo 1 (11)I’m feeling blue aba-dee-aba-dye..I actually have no clue if that is how you spell it, but you get the idea. Blue is a color that I like, but for some reason I don’t hardly ever use. Over the weekend I decided to give it a try! I also decided to starting really trying out my Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette.  It was a purchase I was really excited about, but hadn’t really tried yet.

Here is my “how to” of the look above, which I’m calling, “I’m Feeling Blue” (pretty crafty, huh? Not really, but that’s okay!):

First, apply a good base of an eye primer. I will be honest, this palette really needs a good primer. Without it the colors aren’t as vibrant and they tend to sprinkle everywhere.  I am currently using Ulta’s brand primer right now and it seems to work well for being a $10 primer. The next step is actually applying the eye shadow (the fun part)! Starting at the inner eye I used Strawberry Ice, then Blue Raspberry, and then Sugared Violet on the outer corners. I also went back with Strawberry Ice blending it lightly from the corner outward to soften the look. I also used the Blue Raspberry and Sugared Violet to line my lower lashes.

For not really being a blue lover I actually am kind of obsessed with this look! The turquoise color called Blue Raspberry makes this look so beautiful! I am very glad I decided to experiment! If you are interest in the Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette click HERE!
